This is the second highest mountain in Uganda with the highest peak being Wagagai at 4321 meters high.<\/p>\n

Mountain Elgon is shared between Uganda and Kenya<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a volcanic mountain and it has a very big caldera that traverses to the Kenyan side. It also have more than 5 crater lakes formed almost at the top of mountain.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the most beautiful and with the best scenic views compared to any other mountain in Uganda.<\/p>\n

It features a famous pool called the Jackson pool. The vegetation from the bottom to the top is quite amazing. Medicinal, fruits and food are all got from mountain<\/p>\n
